Fruit thinning

Thanks to a highly reusable robot platform and a dedicated end-effector, Aigritec offers a precision thinning system able to remove exceeding fruits on the tree to abate fruit-to-fruit competition and allow fruit enough room to grow, expose fruit to adequate sunlight, and for better overall fruit quality.

Aigritec uses a robotic vision system to accurately and robustly extract the geometry and semantic information from the working scene in the orchard environment – ensuring that neither the fruit nor the tree branch is damaged.
